Over on the Hubitat forum I sparked up an Ra3 thread and the smarter-than-me folks pointed out that Home Assistant uses some LEAP for their integration. The Hubitat Elevation smart home hub is favored by many hardcore smart home enthusiasts, and unlike the Aeotec Smart Home Hub, it doesn’t depend on a connection to the internet. No reliance on cloud services to make things work unless you want to integrate them.
